PODCASTING
The term comes from a combination of the word ipod (the ubitiquitous digital audio player made by Apple) and broadcasting. Even though the term is derived from the iPod, you don't need an iPod to listen to a podcast. You can use virtually any media player, your mobile phone or your computer. Currently the iTunes Store alone offers more than 100000 free podcasts from the likes of NME, Guardian Music Weekly & Rolling Stone Magazine.
In this workshop we will outline the technical and media skills you need to create and upload a successful podcast. Please this workshop has two sittings you must be able to attend both sittings to be eligible to attend. No prior media experience is necessary.
